Idéer om poliotröjor och annat - Ideas about polio neck sweaters and other stuff

Dagen idag avslutades med ett "Go-to-meeting"-möte med Christina Bredin som hade min roll RPIC innan mig och som nu är ansvarig för Polio Plus i Zonen. 
Vi pratade om vikten av att PR-ansvariga och ansvariga för The Rotary Foundation ska samarbeta för att öka effekten av insatserna vi gör för Polio. Vi pratade också om två möten som vi ska arrangera om ett par veckor. Där bjuder vi in PR ansvariga och Polio Plus-ansvariga för att prata om aktiviteter inför den 24e oktober som är World Polio Day. 
Christina ska sätta ett mål på hur mycket pengar som ska samlas in under oktober. Jag ska ta fram ett koncept. 
Förutom det så kom jag på en ide som jag själv tycker är kanonbra... Det kanske är en av de där "kill your darling" Vi ska göra en kampanj som heter 
"Höstens modetrend är en poliotröja".. (jag såg på ett reportage från modeveckan att polotröja är en stor trend i år). 
Vi ska hursomhelst se över möjligheten att få klubbarna att sälja poliotröjor och låta förtjänsten gå till Polio Plus. Jag håller tummarna för att det går!!!! 
Vi börjar nu förbereda dessa möten, ett på engelska och ett på svenska. Om ett par veckor kör vi. 

I ended the day today with a "go-to-meeting" meeting with Christina Bredin, who was RPIC before me and who is now responsible for PolioPlus in Zone 15.
We talked about the importance of PR professionals and managers of The Rotary Foundation to work together to increase the impact of the actions we do for Polio. 
We also talked about the two meetings we will organize in a couple of weeks. We will invite the public relations managers and PolioPlus responsible to talk about the activities for the 24th of October - World Polio Day.
Christina will set a goal of how much money we want to collected during October. I will develop a concept. 
And so I came to an idea that I myself think is tremendous ... (It might be one of those "kill your darlings" ideas... ) 
We will do a campaign called
"Autumn fashion trend is a polio neck sweater" .. (I saw on a report from the fashion week that turtleneck, polo neck sweater is a big trend this year).
We will anyhow review the possibility of clubs to sell polio neck sweaters and let the profit go to PolioPlus. I keep my fingers crossed that it is possible !!!! 
We now begin to prepare for these meetings, one in English and one in Swedish. In a few weeks we will start the work.
