Projektet som ska ta gänget upp på Kilimanjaro heter "Operation Frihet".
"Min livsmening är att hjälpa och inspirera andra människor att finna sin egen väg till frihet” säger Jonas till oss.

One of the really great things about Rotary is all these fantastic lectures that we get to be part of every year. Yesterday's lecturer in my own club Borlange Rotary Club was Jonas Gustafsson. He is confined to a wheelchair because of a rare neurological disease. He does not let his illness limit him in any way. He is parachuting and climbing mountains, most recently the mountain of Städjan which is situated here in Dalarna. He is going to climb up Kilimanjaro in 2017. This he train for, and plan to do with experienced mountain climbers and a another three wheelchair users. What a fantastic project, and what a great guy. It gives perspective on life to talk to someone who himself thinks he whines over trifles when he compares himself to a small wheelchair bound guy in Tanzania with a big and bulky wheelchair in wood. The little boy are so happy for the freedom the wheelchair gives him.
The project that will bring gang up on Kilimanjaro is called "Operation Freedom".
"My life purpose is to help and inspire others to find their own path to freedom," says Jonas to us.
And there we sat others with healthy bones and complained lightly over the dull fish that was served for lunch ...
