21 skänkta auktionsobjekt från Skellefteåföretag till ett totalt värde på cirka 160 000 kronor auktionerades ut. Det handlade om allt från konferensdagar till annonser och friskvårdspaket.
På den timme som auktionen pågick samlade man in 90 000 kronor.Målet var 10 000 kronor. Vilken succé! Det är är verkligen ett initiativ som kan inspirera fler klubbar i vår Zon.
Make Reading Cool är ett projekt som ska hjälpa "Childrens Book Network" att stötta skolbarn med begränsade resurser i Red Hill utanför Kapstaden.
It is fantastic. Skellefteå in the north of Sweden has four Rotary clubs. This weekend the arranged an auction to raise funds for the project Make Reading Cool in South Africa.
The had 21 donated auction items from Skelleftea Company for a total value of approximately SEK 160 000 to sell. It was a lot of different thins, like conference days, space for advertisements and wellness packages.
In the one hour that the auction was going on they collected SEK 90,000. The goal was SEK 10 000. What a success! It is truly an initiative that can inspire other clubs in our zone.
