Så börjar min resa som RPIC för Zon 15 i Rotary - The beginning…

Vilken ära att få frågan…. Vart fick dom MITT namn ifrån. Jag var osäker när ett epost dök upp med avsändare Evanstone… Vad är det dom vill???
Jag ringde Christina Bredin som har uppdraget som RPIC för Zon 15 idag och frågade. Hon såg genast vad det var frågan om.
- Du har fått frågan om du vill representera hela vår Zon som coordinator. Finland, Ryssland, Estland, Lettland och… Sverige förstås.

Jag behövde inte fundera så länge. Jag tackade ja såklart.

Det var ett halvår sedan. Nu sitter jag på Arlanda och är redo att bege mig mot Evanstone. Här kommer du att kunna följa hela min Rotaryresa de närmaste tre åren. Välkommen till min blogg!!!

What an honor to get the question.... But where did they get my name? I  am just a member of a small Rotaryclub in Sweden…  When I got the email från Evanstone at first I did not understand what the wanted….
I called Christina Bredin which has the mission to RPIC for Zone 15 today and asked. She immediately saw what it was all about.
- You have been asked if you want to represent our entire Zone as coordinator. Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and of course… Sweden ...

I did not hesitate. I said yes of course.

That was six months ago. Now I'm sitting at the airport and get ready to fly to Evanstone, Chicago. Here on this blog you will be able to follow my Rotary-adventure for the next three years. Welcome to my blog !!!
